VETERAN ANCHOR/REPORTER CREATES MENTORING WEBSITE
Aspiring broadcast journalists now have a place to go for
help to get them started in the profession or get them to
the next job or just to improve their game.
Veteran TV reporter and anchor Ross Becker has created www.TVNewsmentor.com
and he is ready to be a coach to anyone who is
looking for an edge to get into the business or move up the
ladder.
Some people get lucky and fine someone willing to spend
the time to help them, but most people are not, said
Becker. Many students and young broadcast journalists just
dont know where to begin with a job search or how to
improve their skills to get them to the next level.
I had some great mentors and I want to make sure I
can pass along what I have learned so far, says Becker.
The site includes a weekly tip, Ross Blog and scores
of great resource websites to help anyone in the profession.
Becker is an award winning, 30 year broadcast news veteran
