Orozco Nabs Big Award
The news director for public radio station KCLU in Thousand
Oaks, California has been named Journalist of the Year in
the radio anchor category by the Los Angeles Press Club. Lance
Orozco received the award at the 46th Annual Southern California
Journalism Awards banquet in Century City.
Station officials say KCLU which is based at California Lutheran
University, has won more awards than any other radio station
in Southern California for the past three years. The station
broadcasts on 88.3 FM in Ventura County and 102.3 FM in Santa
Barbara County.
